Katrina is a Pennsylvania native, originally from Lebanon PA. She graduated with honors from the Pennsylvania State University, majoring in Theatre Performance and minoring in Business and Liberal Arts.
Katrina is a Meisner based actress who has studied contemporary and Shakespearian work with Richard Robichaux and Matthew Toronto. She has studied voice with vocal pedagogy Michael Hadary (MFA Candidate), and Beverly A. Patton (Musical director for Penn State Opera Theatre and musical theatre singing specialist for the School of Theatre’s Musical Theatre). She has studied ballet with Donna Dunmire, Spence Ford and Judy Williams Henry; and Musical Theatre Styles with J. Austin Eyer. She has also studied two years of Catherine Fitzmaurice based movement and voice work under Andrew Belser.
Growing up in a family that encouraged her love of music, Katrina happily found herself performing professionally at the age of 12. Since that time she has performed a variety of roles at professional regional theaters around the North East. Some of those credits including: The Little Mermaid (Arista U/S Ariel), The Marvelous Wonderettes (Cindy Lou Huffington), A Little Night Music (Fredrika Armfelt), Happy Days The Musical (Pinky Tuscadero), and The Wizard of Oz (Glinda).
Katrina has recently returned from performing in the inaugural cast of Grease as Sandy, for David Ian Productions and Royal Caribbean International. This role gave her the opportunity to work with some of the best the West End has to offer, including: “The most powerful man in UK Theatre”, David Ian (Creator of the TV show Grease: You’re The One That I Want!), Jason Capewell, and Anthony Edge.
